Best Mosquito Repellent - Actual in the field Battle Off with DEET vs. Cutter's Lemon Eucalyptus

​On my last backpacking trip I decided to test Off with 25% DEET and Cutter's 30% Lemon Eucalyptus insect repellent.  The bugs were biting, mosquitoes and all types of flies.  I sprayed one half of my body with one brand and the other half with the other.  I found both to do the job, but the DEET still allowed the mosquito to land on the skin, then it would leave without biting. As opposed to the Cutter's that seemed to not be of any interest at all and the bugs stayed quite a ways away.
