Washing Backpacking Gear..Tents and Tarps using Nikwax for the cleaning, waterproofing and UV

Doing some end of the summer season washing and treating some of my backpacking gear that I won't be using during the winter.

I used Nikwax Tech Wash http://amzn.to/2yFmBKJ for the cleaning, and Nikwax Tent and Gear Solarproof http://amzn.to/2gWe8tl .  The solarproof will be great to give some added UV protectant
